Who can take part

  • You are between 40 and 68 years old.
  • You have at least one risk factor for heart or blood vessel disease, such as being a male over 55 or female over 65, smoking, having diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol.
  • You are willing to get a special heart scan (coronary CTA) if your doctor thinks your arteries might be narrowed.
  • You are not pregnant or planning to become pregnant in the next year.
  • You do not have severe heart rhythm problems, tattoos on your wrist, or an allergy to iodine-based contrast dye.
