Who can take part

  • You have had a below-knee amputation on one leg.
  • You have been using a well-fitting prosthetic leg for at least one month.
  • You can walk and move between surfaces (like from a chair to standing) with little or no help from another person.
  • You do not have open sores or other major leg problems that would make testing difficult.
  • You do not have a health condition that causes your leg size to change quickly, like kidney dialysis.
  • You are able to follow instructions and do not have memory or thinking problems.
