Who can take part
- You are 21 years old or older.
- You are scheduled for a heart or blood vessel procedure through a small tube (5 or 6 French) in your wrist, and you plan to go home the same day.
- You have a healthy wrist artery (confirmed by a test called Reverse Barbeau with results A, B, or C).
- You are not taking blood thinners that can't be stopped for the procedure.
- You do not have certain medical conditions like scleroderma, vasculitis, or Raynaud's syndrome.
