Blood test study for liver cancer diagnosis
Part of Cancer, Digestive system clinical trials.
This study is testing a new blood test to see if it can help diagnose liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) early in people with liver damage. If you have cirrhosis (scarring of the liver) or hepatitis B, your participation could help improve how we detect liver cancer.

This study follows people with cirrhosis to see how best to detect liver cancer early. If you qualify, you may receive regular monitoring that could help find liver cancer sooner, when treatment is more likely to work.
This trial tests a new blood test to help detect liver cancer (HCC) or confirm it’s not present in people with cirrhosis who are being monitored. It may help improve how doctors screen for liver cancer and decide who needs further imaging or treatment.
This trial is testing if a blood test can find liver cancer early. It may help people who are newly diagnosed or suspected to have liver cancer and have not started treatment yet.
This study tests a new way to screen for liver cancer in people with chronic liver disease, especially those with cirrhosis or significant liver scarring. It uses blood tests and imaging to catch cancer early.
This study tests whether offering an ultrasound and a blood test (alpha-fetoprotein) every 6 months can help find liver cancer early in people with cirrhosis (scarred liver) caused by conditions other than hepatitis B or C. The goal is to reduce deaths from liver cancer in this group.
This study tests a digital (computer/phone-based) system to help track people with higher risk of liver cancer so cancers can be found earlier. It may help by guiding regular check-ins and making early diagnosis more efficient.
