Who can take part
- You are a woman between 18 and 80 years old.
- You are scheduled for a laparoscopic gynecologic surgery (belly button incision).
- You are in generally good health (ASA physical status I, II, or III).
- You do not have a bleeding disorder or take blood thinners regularly.
- You are not allergic to numbing medicines like lidocaine.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and your body mass index (BMI) is under 35.
