Who can take part

  • You must be at least 2 years old.
  • You must have a confirmed diagnosis of PROS (a rare condition causing abnormal growth of body parts) that is getting worse.
  • A genetic test must show a change in the PIK3CA gene in a sample from the overgrown area.
  • You should have at least one overgrowth that is at least 2 cm wide and causes symptoms or limits daily activities.
  • You cannot have only isolated features like an enlarged finger, a large head, or a skin mole without other PROS-related growths.
  • You must not have taken other PI3K inhibitors (a class of medicines) for more than 2 weeks, or have had major surgery or radiation for PROS recently.
