Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older and not pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You have been diagnosed with Crohn's disease affecting the last part of your small intestine (ileum) for at least 3 months.
- You have at least one narrowed area (stricture) in your ileum that is caused by inflammation, and it can be reached with a scope. This narrowing must be confirmed by MRI.
- You have belly pain after eating or you need to limit what you eat because of symptoms.
- You are currently on a stable dose of corticosteroids (like prednisone up to 20 mg/day or budesonide up to 9 mg/day) for at least 4 weeks and are willing to slowly reduce the dose starting 8 weeks after the study treatment begins.
- You have not had major surgery, a stoma, or short bowel syndrome, and you are not using certain other medications (like biologics or JAK inhibitors) within the past 4-8 weeks.
