Who can take part

  • You are a woman aged 18 or older.
  • You identify as being of African descent (African, Afro-Caribbean, Afro-Latino, or African American).
  • You have mild to moderate CCCA hair loss on the top or crown of your scalp, stages 1B, 2B, or 3B.
  • You haven't used certain hair loss treatments (like minoxidil or retinoic acid) or anti-inflammatory drugs (like steroids) in the past 4 weeks.
  • You are not pregnant and are willing to avoid tight hairstyles that pull on your hair during the study.
