Who can take part
- You must have liver cancer (HCC) that cannot be removed by surgery or transplant, with tumors smaller than 20 cm total and no single tumor larger than 15 cm.
- Your liver function must be fairly good (Child-Pugh score of 5 or 6) and your cancer stage must be intermediate (B) or advanced (C).
- You should have no untreated active hepatitis B or C, no prior radiation to the liver area, and no distant spread that can't be covered by the study's radiation.
- You must be 18 or older, have a good performance status (able to do daily activities), and have adequate blood counts, kidney, and liver lab results.
- You cannot have certain health issues like unstable heart disease, recent bleeding, active autoimmune disease, or a history of organ transplant.
