Who can take part
- You have liver cancer (HCC) that is too advanced for surgery or transplant.
- Your liver tumors measure less than 20 cm total, with no single tumor larger than 15 cm.
- You are 18 years or older and have a good performance status (ECOG 0 or 1).
- Your liver function is well preserved (Child-Pugh score 5 or 6) and blood counts are adequate.
- You do not have active hepatitis B or C, or other serious health conditions like active infections, bleeding disorders, or autoimmune diseases.
- You have not had prior radiation or certain therapies to the liver area, and all tumor sites can be treated with proton radiation.
