Who can take part

  • You are between 40 and 80 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (or you are a healthy volunteer without Parkinson's).
  • Your Parkinson's is at a moderate stage (Hoehn and Yahr 2 or 3) when medication is working.
  • You can walk for 10 minutes without help.
  • You can read and write in English at an 8th grade level.
  • You do not have severe nerve damage in your feet, dementia, or balance problems that cause daily falls.
