  • You have Parkinson's disease, diagnosed by a neurologist
  • You can walk for 5 minutes without a walker or another person's help (a cane is fine)
  • You experience freezing of gait at least once a day
  • Your Parkinson's medication has been the same for at least 7 days
  • You are at least 18 years old and have no other major health issues that affect walking

Testing a drug to reduce freezing of gait in Parkinson's

This trial tests whether atomoxetine, a drug that boosts a brain chemical called noradrenaline, can help reduce freezing of gait—a feeling of your feet being stuck to the ground—in people with Parkinson's disease.
