Who can take part

  • You must have MDS that has returned or not gotten better after at least one prior standard treatment.
  • You must be 18 years old or older.
  • You must be able to get around and care for yourself (ECOG score of 3 or less).
  • Your weight must be at least 41 kilograms (about 90 pounds).
  • You must not have had treatment with decitabine (given by IV or as a pill) for 4 or more 28-day cycles before.
  • You must not be pregnant or breastfeeding, and if you could become pregnant, you must agree to use birth control while on the study and for 6 months after.
