Who can take part
- You must have been diagnosed with MDS (myelodysplastic syndromes).
- You have had at least one prior treatment with a drug like azacitidine or decitabine (called a hypomethylating agent).
- Your bone marrow has more than 5% blasts (immature cells) AND your blood counts are low (low neutrophils, low platelets, or low hemoglobin).
- You are able to carry out most daily activities (ECOG score 0 to 2).
- Your liver and kidney function must be within a safe range, and you must not have serious infections or other uncontrolled illnesses.
