Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 1.5 and 2.5 years old.
  • They should either have a diagnosis of autism (ASD), global developmental delay (GDD), language disorder (LD), or be a typically developing child for comparison.
  • Your child must have been born full term (at least 37 weeks) and weighed more than 5.5 pounds (2500 grams) at birth.
  • They cannot have certain serious genetic disorders (like Rett syndrome or Fragile X) or a brain injury.
  • Parents or caregivers must agree to be part of the study and understand what it involves.
