Who can take part
- You are having ACL surgery, either for a first-time injury or as a revision of a previous ACL repair.
- If you already had ACL surgery before, the surgery report from the first surgery is available.
- You are covered by French national health insurance (social security).
- You speak French and agree to take part by signing a consent form.
- You do not have diabetes, cancer, a chronic inflammatory disease (like rheumatoid arthritis or inflammatory bowel disease), or a current knee infection.
- You have not taken antibiotics or used intravenous drugs in the 3 months before your surgery.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You do not need a guardian's consent to participate.
