Who can take part

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to give consent.
  • You need to have a clear spot on your skin for the sensor (no open wounds, rashes, or implants in the way).
  • You should be able to stay still enough for the sensor to work.
  • For the heart failure arm: you have stable heart failure and are on your usual medications.
  • For the DVT arm: you have a confirmed blood clot in your leg and are on blood thinners or scheduled for treatment.
  • For the ICU arm: you are in the ICU or just had surgery and need continuous bedside ultrasound checks.
