Who can take part

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You were hospitalized for heart failure between January 2017 and April 2024.
  • You had a heart ultrasound that captured clear images of your heart from multiple angles.
  • Your heart function falls into one of two groups: either your left ventricle pumps normally (50% or higher) but you have diastolic dysfunction, or your left ventricle pumps at less than 40%.
  • You do not have severe heart valve disease that needs surgery, congenital heart disease, or a type of thickened heart muscle called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
  • You are not currently enrolled in another interventional trial that could affect imaging results.
