Who can take part

  • Your kidney cancer must be advanced (cannot be removed by surgery) and include a type called 'clear cell'.
  • You should be able to take care of most daily tasks (Karnofsky score of 80% or higher).
  • You cannot have already taken certain medicines (cabozantinib or a HIF-2α inhibitor).
  • Your blood pressure must be well-controlled (under 150/90).
  • You cannot have had another active cancer in the last year, except for minor ones that are cured.
