Who can take part
- You are between 45 and 65 years old
- You are overweight according to adjusted BMI guidelines for your ethnic group
- You have been diagnosed with MASH (a serious form of fatty liver disease) with moderate liver scarring (F2-F3), or you have fatty liver without significant scarring, or you are a healthy volunteer without fatty liver
- You do not have diabetes, and your average blood sugar (HbA1c) is below a certain level
- You are not a heavy drinker, smoker, or taking certain medications like steroids, antibiotics, or weight loss drugs
