Who can take part

  • You had a lumpectomy (breast-conserving surgery) for breast cancer.
  • You are between 18 and 50 years old.
  • You have at least one of these risk factors: lymph node involvement, cancer in blood or lymph vessels, extensive DCIS, close surgical margins, non-hormone-sensitive tumor, or high-grade cancer.
  • You have good general health (can do daily activities) and adequate blood counts.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and have no collagen diseases (like lupus or scleroderma).
