Low blood pressure after surgery in the recovery room study

Hypotension During SurgerySurgery-Complications

Part of Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This study looks at how often low blood pressure happens after surgery in the recovery room. It helps doctors understand and better manage blood pressure in patients who just had general anesthesia.

Blood pressure measurement and hypotension risk during surgery

This trial tests if noninvasive blood pressure cuff measurements before surgery can help predict low blood pressure during surgery for people having non-cardiac surgery.

Predicting low blood pressure during major abdominal surgery

This trial tests a tool that predicts drops in blood pressure during major abdominal surgery. It may help doctors manage blood pressure better during and after surgery.

NCT05960604Recruiting
Monitoring blood pressure during surgery to predict low blood pressure

This study tests special ways of analyzing blood-pressure recordings during major surgery to better understand why some people develop low blood pressure (hypotension). If you have high blood pressure and need invasive blood-pressure monitoring, your surgery team will use readings to study patterns that may help predict or prevent low blood pressure.

Blood pressure management during non-cardiac surgery

This trial tests whether noradrenaline is better than standard care for preventing dangerously low blood pressure during surgery. If you are having non-cardiac surgery that lasts at least an hour and are expected to stay overnight, this study may be for you.

Study links low blood pressure after meals and after anesthesia

This study looks at whether people who have low blood pressure after eating are also more likely to have low blood pressure after starting general anesthesia. It may help doctors better predict and manage blood pressure drops during non-heart surgeries in older adults.

NCT07541222Recruiting
Blood pressure medications and surgery recovery outcomes

This study looks at how blood pressure medications affect low blood pressure episodes that happen during and after heart surgery. Researchers want to understand if the number of blood pressure drugs you take before surgery changes how your body handles blood pressure during the operation.
