  • You are between 40 and 80 years old.
  • You have not had colon surgery (other than appendix removal).
  • You are not currently having bleeding from your lower intestine.
  • You do not have inflammatory bowel disease, a history of colon polyps, or colon cancer.
  • You do not have a bleeding disorder, organ failure, or a narrowed colon.
