Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- You have been referred for an EMG test because of lower back or leg pain (sciatica-like symptoms).
- You do not have hearing loss and do not use a hearing aid.
- You have not had an EMG or nerve test before.
- You are not currently taking painkillers, antidepressants, or other pain-related medications.
- You do not have a bleeding disorder, take blood thinners, or have an active infection.
