Who can take part

  • You must be a man or woman who is medically competent.
  • You must have chronic muscle knots in the upper trapezius (neck and shoulder area) that have been present for more than 6 months.
  • These knots must feel like a tight band with a hard spot and cause pain when pressed.
  • You must not have had any neck or shoulder surgery, fractures, infections, or inflammatory diseases.
  • You must not have cervical disc problems, fibromyalgia, or any systemic disorder.
  • You must not have received physical therapy in the last 3 months.
