Who can take part

  • You have oral or throat cancer and need radiation therapy (30 sessions / 60 Gy) after surgery.
  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have not had radiation to your head or neck before.
  • You are not currently on chemotherapy or immunotherapy (stopped for at least 1 month).
  • You do not have serious infections, heart disease, or other cancers.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy within 6 months after treatment.
