Who can take part
- You had surgery to remove the right side of your colon (right hemicolectomy) for cancer, using either a robotic (Da Vinci) or laparoscopic (keyhole) approach.
- Your cancer was confirmed as adenocarcinoma (a common type of colon cancer) that had grown into or through the colon wall (stages T2 to T4a) but had not spread to distant organs (M0).
- You did not receive chemotherapy or radiation before surgery.
- You have not had any other cancer in the past 5 years (except for cured cervical cancer, or certain skin cancers).
- You are not severely obese (BMI over 35), and you do not have severe medical problems that would make general anesthesia or surgery unsafe.
- You are able to give informed consent and do not have a mental health condition that would prevent you from understanding the study.
