This study looks at how muscle mass affects recovery after a cardiac arrest (when the heart stops). It is for people who stay on a breathing machine in the ICU for more than three days. Researchers will measure muscle to see if it helps predict recovery.

Who can take part
- Your cardiac arrest happened because of a medical reason (not an injury or accident).
- After CPR, your heart started beating on its own and stayed beating for more than 5 minutes.
- You have been in the intensive care unit (ICU) for more than 3 days and still need a breathing machine.
- You do NOT have a pacemaker or defibrillator in your chest.
- You do NOT have open sores, severe swelling, or blood clots in your legs.
- You were able to walk on your own before your cardiac arrest (not bedridden or using a wheelchair only).
