Who can take part

  • You are a woman aged 18 or older with advanced breast cancer that has spread or cannot be removed by surgery.
  • Your cancer must be HER2-positive (overexpressing) or HER2-low (underexpressing) as confirmed by a special test.
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You may have had other treatments for advanced breast cancer before.

This trial compares two treatments for advanced breast cancer that is HR-positive, HER2-low or ultralow, and a non-luminal subtype. It tests if a targeted antibody-drug conjugate (T-DXd) works better than the usual first-line therapy combining a CDK4/6 inhibitor with hormone therapy. This study is for people who have not had any treatment for advanced disease.
