This trial tests a dye called Cytalux that helps surgeons see cancer during surgery. You get the dye before surgery, and it makes cancer cells glow under a special light. This could help doctors remove more cancer.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have cancer in your digestive system, pancreas, liver, bile ducts, esophagus, or a gynecologic cancer that needs a special type of surgery called HIPEC or debulking.
  • You are scheduled for surgery to remove a tumor or to look at how far the cancer has spread using a camera in your belly.
  • You agree to stop taking folic acid, folate, or any supplements with folate for 2 days before getting the study dye.
  • You or your legal guardian can sign a consent form to join the study.
  • You do not have a history of severe allergic reactions to indocyanine green or any part of the study dye.
