Who can take part

  • You had a severe type of heart attack (STEMI or very high-risk NSTEMI).
  • You're having emergency angioplasty (PCI) to open a blocked artery.
  • You're at least 18 years old.
  • Your heart attack symptoms started less than 48 hours ago, or longer with certain serious symptoms.
  • You or your family agree to sign a consent form.
