Who can take part
- You had a severe type of heart attack (STEMI or very high-risk NSTEMI).
- You're having emergency angioplasty (PCI) to open a blocked artery.
- You're at least 18 years old.
- Your heart attack symptoms started less than 48 hours ago, or longer with certain serious symptoms.
- You or your family agree to sign a consent form.
