Who can take part

  • You must have a CBCT scan (a detailed 3D X-ray) of your teeth.
  • The scan must show at least one tooth that had a full root canal treatment (cleaning and filling the tooth's root).
  • The scan must include both your upper and lower jaw.
  • The scan needs to be good quality, with a clear image made at a fine detail level (0.2 or 0.3 millimeter voxel size).
  • You must be an Egyptian citizen, over 18 years old.
  • You cannot be completely toothless (edentulous), and the scan should not show any surgical root canal procedures (like apicoectomy).
