Who can take part

  • Your child has an anterior open bite, meaning the front teeth don't meet when the back teeth are together.
  • Your child is in the early or intermediate mixed dentition phase, which means they have some baby teeth and some permanent teeth.
  • Your child has not had or is not currently doing orofacial myofunctional therapy (therapy for tongue and mouth muscle patterns).
  • Your child has not had or is not currently doing orthodontic treatment (like braces).
  • Your child has no congenital abnormalities, syndromes, or surgery needs affecting the mouth or face.
  • Your child has no disorders affecting motor skills or cognitive development, and has not had non-nutritive sucking habits (like thumb sucking) in the last 3 months.
