Who can take part

  • Your baby is at least 39 weeks old (from the time since conception, not just birth)
  • Your baby is making very little progress with feeding by mouth
  • If your baby started trying to eat at full term (37 weeks or later), they've been trying for at least 2 weeks; if earlier than 36 weeks, at least 4 weeks
  • Your baby is allowed to try eating by mouth at every meal, with no limits on how much they can take
