- You have a brain AVM (arteriovenous malformation) with aneurysms in the back of the brain
- You had bleeding around the brain (subarachnoid hemorrhage) seen on a CT scan
- Your AVM and aneurysms were diagnosed by a special X-ray called DSA
- You have not had a stroke before
- You do not have Marfan syndrome or polycystic kidney disease
