This study tests a self-guided online program called HablaRÉ that helps people change unhelpful thinking patterns that fuel public speaking anxiety. It’s designed for adults who have significant fear of public speaking and can use a device with internet.

Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older and able to read and understand Spanish.
  • You need a mobile device or computer with internet access.
  • You cannot be in other therapy for public speaking anxiety during the study.
  • You must have a certain level of fear of public speaking or emotional reasoning (based on a screening questionnaire).
  • If you take anxiety or depression medication, your dose must have been stable for at least one month.
  • You should not have a severe mental illness or active suicidal plans.
