Who can take part
- You must be 18 or older and have been diagnosed with liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma, or HCC).
- Your liver function must be good enough (Child-Pugh score A or B with a score of 7 or lower).
- You must have at least one of these tumor types: a single tumor 6.5 cm or larger, three or more tumors (with at least one larger than 4.5 cm or total size 8 cm or more), or tumor growth into major blood vessels.
- The cancer must not have spread to other organs (no distant metastasis).
- You must be generally active and able to take care of yourself (performance status score 2 or less).
