Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older with type 2 diabetes
  • You live in Ontario, Canada
  • You smoke at least 5 cigarettes a day and want to cut down or quit within the next 6 months
  • Your blood sugar (HbA1c) is between 7% and 10% and stable over the last 3 to 6 months
  • You have not used a GLP-1 drug (like Ozempic, Wegovy, or semaglutide) in the past 6 months
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and don't have certain medical conditions like severe kidney disease, pancreatitis, or thyroid cancer
