Who can take part
- Your baby was born before 32 weeks of pregnancy.
- At the time of the study, your baby is at least 7 days old and between 28 and 36 weeks corrected age (age since conception).
- Your baby is using a bubble CPAP machine with small nasal prongs, with the pressure set between 5 and 7 cm H2O and gas flow between 6 and 10 liters per minute.
- Your baby does not have any major birth defects, heart problems, or muscle/nerve diseases.
- Your baby is not on strong heart medicines, painkillers, or sedatives, and is not getting CPAP from a ventilator or using a face mask.
