Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- Your Body Mass Index (BMI) is between 30 and 50. This means you have obesity that may qualify for this treatment.
- You are not planning to become pregnant in the next year.
- You are willing to take a daily stomach acid medication while the balloon is in place.
- You have not used weight loss supplements or medications in the past 3 months.
- You do not have certain stomach or digestive conditions, such as ulcers, Crohn's disease, or a large hiatal hernia.
