Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with osteogenesis imperfecta type I, III, or IV, and genetic testing has found a change in the COL1A1 or COL1A2 genes.
- Your bone density at the spine, hip, or femoral neck is below a certain level (T-score -1.0 or lower).
- You have not taken certain bone medications in the past 6 months to 2 years, including bisphosphonates, teriparatide, denosumab, or anti-sclerostin antibody drugs.
- You do not have other serious health conditions like vitamin D deficiency, uncontrolled thyroid or parathyroid disease, or a history of heart attack or stroke in the past year.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study.
