Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You have a liver cancer that cannot be surgically removed because it sits close to major blood vessels.
- You have 1 to 3 liver tumors, each no larger than 5 centimeters (about 2 inches).
- Your liver function is fair (Child-Pugh class A or B) and your overall health is good (ECOG 0-1).
- Your tumor can be seen clearly on an ultrasound and is not blocked by scars, gas, or bones.
- You are not pregnant and are willing to use effective birth control if you could become pregnant.
