Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with gum disease (moderate to severe).
- You have at least one deep gum pocket on each side of your mouth, and no more than 20 teeth with deep pockets.
- You have both single-rooted and multi-rooted teeth.
- You have had type 2 diabetes for at least one year.
- You are generally healthy and able to follow the study instructions.
