Who can take part

  • You are a breastfeeding woman aged 18 or older, between 3 and 24 months after giving birth to a healthy baby.
  • You do not have tuberculosis (TB) infection or active TB disease.
  • Your weight is between 25 and 100 kg (about 55 to 220 lbs).
  • You are not taking any medicines for TB, diabetes, high blood pressure, HIV, heart disease, or other long-term conditions.
  • Your breastfed baby has not been diagnosed with TB or is being treated for TB.
  • You are not pregnant and do not have any acute illness at the time of the study.
