Ultrasound and urine leak after vaginal closure surgery

Prolapse, Vaginal

Part of Women’s health & pregnancy clinical trials.

This study looks at whether a specific ultrasound measurement can predict new urine leakage after a surgery that closes the vagina (colpocleisis) for severe prolapse. It may help women who are not planning future intercourse understand their risk of leaking urine after the procedure.

Predicting Incontinence Risk After Pelvic Floor Surgery
