Who can take part
- You are 18 or older and willing to join the study.
- You have age-related cataracts in both eyes and are scheduled for cataract surgery on both eyes.
- Your surgeon expects you to see at least 20/25 with glasses after surgery in each eye.
- Any leftover astigmatism (blurry vision from cornea shape) after surgery is expected to be small (0.50 diopters or less) and can be corrected.
- Your eyes are healthy except for cataracts, with no other major eye problems like glaucoma, macular disease, or severe dry eye.
- You have not had any eye surgery before, including LASIK or PRK, and are not planning any other eye procedures at the time of cataract surgery.
