- You are between 45 and 65 years old
- You have knee osteoarthritis confirmed by X-ray, with moderate changes (grade 2 or 3)
- Your knee pain averages between 3 and 8 out of 10
- You can walk, turn, and sit down in 14 seconds or more (a measure of how steady you are)
- You're willing to attend supervised exercise sessions twice a week for six weeks
