Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You should have been diagnosed with ALS within the last 24 months.
  • Your lung function (FVC) must be above 80% of what's expected for your age and size.
  • You must be able to swallow pills at the start of the study.
  • If you take riluzole or edaravone, your dose must be stable and you should keep taking it during the trial.
