Who can take part

  • You have non-small cell lung cancer (the most common type) that is at stage IB, II, or IIIA, meaning it has not spread widely and doctors plan to remove it with surgery.
  • You are feeling well enough to be up and about (ECOG performance status 0 or 1).
  • Your organs and bone marrow are working well, as shown by standard blood tests.
  • You have not had any prior chemotherapy, radiation, or immunotherapy for your lung cancer.
