  • Your doctor plans to do a prostate biopsy after an MRI
  • You are between 55 and 80 years old
  • Your PSA level is between 3 and 10 ng/mL
  • You have never been diagnosed with or treated for prostate cancer
  • Your MRI is good quality and not considered low quality

Using AI to improve prostate cancer detection from MRI

This trial tests whether an artificial intelligence (AI) program can help doctors decide when a prostate biopsy is needed. It is for men who have had a prostate MRI that shows either a low-risk (PIRADS 1-2) or uncertain (PIRADS 3) spot, along with a higher-than-normal PSA level. You may qualify if you have certain risk factors like a high PSA density, suspicious digital rectal exam, or family history of prostate cancer.
